The Shoppes at Arvada stands at the gateway into Old Town Arvada, thus Richmond Group took the approach of addressing the building on all four sides to provide a prominent presence and appeal.

With the use of local materials and the earth tone color palette indicative of the surrounding environment, Shoppes at Arvada both blends into its surroundings and stands as its own entity. Located on an outparcel, in front of an existing Lowe's store, the building pays homage to its adjacent neighbor, mimicking Lowe's blue with its peaked standing seam roof.

The building blends materials effortlessly, with a mixture of CMU, natural dry stacked Colorado Red Stone, and EIFS.
