Barnes & Noble, the world's largest bookseller, has a long and ongoing relationship with Richmond Group. With the opening of the new store at the La Cantera shopping center, Richmond Group was tasked with infusing a few new features into this store, to better cater to its neighborhood.

The store boasts a larger than average Juniors section, catering to children, a Barnes & Noble at School section with resource materials for educators and homeschoolers, and an expanded Spanish language book section to cater to the large Hispanic community in San Antonio. As one of Barnes & Noble's architects, and after designing numerous stores, Richmond Group took a new approach to incorporate the new and larger sections into the store design, while still catering to the Barnes & Noble store branding theme.
